Financial Contributions

Mark #432 as your United Way Donor option. Contribute through the Combined Federal Campaign using the code 24472. Employer Match: when you make your next gift to Crisis Center North, ask your employer's Human Resources Department if the company matches gifts for charitable donations. If so, send a form from your employer along with your donation and Crisis Center North will take care of the rest.

Non-Financial Contributions

Crisis Center North also welcomes in-kind gifts or non-financial donations. These contributions allow us to provide tangible resources to clients; however, Crisis Center North is not a shelter program, thus our storage is limited. If you would like to make non-financial donation, please contact the Center at 412-364-6728 to determine if there is a current client need.

CCN collaborates with many community organizations by making referrals to clients or providing vouchers to obtain donated tangible items. Call the Center for a list of these organizations.

Glenshaw Auto Referral Program
1 Glenshaw Auto Service, has committed to honor the community they live in and the people who reside there who makes their business possible. Glenshaw Auto has chosen to partner with CCN as a community organization who carries out amazing work that empowers and improves the world we live in. When new customer has auto service or maintenance done at Glenshaw Auto Service using the brochure found at, $25 of the customer’s first invoice* is matched by Glenshaw Auto Service and a total of $50 is donated to CCN. *oil change services not included

Verizon Wireless HopeLine Program
Crisis Center North collects cell phones for the Verizon Wireless HopeLine Program. These phones provide victims of domestic violence access to communication and private voicemail accounts. Crisis Center North has a drop box for phones (chargers must accompany the phones) or you can simply drop them off at any Verizon Wireless Store.

Crisis Center North has joined to offer supporters the opportunity to earn cash back on the products you currently buy online, while we earn royalties.

North Hills Community Outreach Auto Program
Donate your unwanted vehicle to CCN to aid clients with transportation needs. CCN is partnering with North Hills Community Outreach through their Community Auto Program, which puts donated vehicles back into the hands of financially struggling individuals and families. Car, truck, boat, or plane - any vehicle in any condition is accepted. Call CCN’s Fiscal Director, Ron Aikins, at 412-364-6728 x20 to learn more about donating your vehicle and how to receive the maximum Federal tax deduction possible through Crisis Center North.

Choose Viridian Energy and Support CCN. Since Pennsylvania has been de-regulated, you now have a choice about where to buy your electricity. If you are currently a Duquesne Light or PPL customer, you can start saving on your electric bill with one quick click.

Data submitted (such as email addresses or information submitted through email communications) on Crisis Center North’s website is not collected or used for any purpose, unless a donor is submitting an on-line contribution to the agency. In that event, the donor is afforded donor privacy, highlighted in the following statement: Crisis Center North will never sell, trade, rent or share names, email addresses, or telephone numbers of our donors. Crisis Center North publishes the names of all donors in the organization’s annual report that corresponds with the fiscal year of the gift made. Donors should notify Crisis Center North in the event that publication of their name should be withheld. Crisis Center North will only use the contact information (email, telephone, and address) of donors to distribute receipts and thank you notes to donors and to inform donors of upcoming fundraisers and other agency events. Any questions regarding Crisis Center North’s Privacy Policy should be directed to CCN’s Executive Director.
